3-3.5 stars. Couldn't give more than that because the main character was flat and suspension of belief was a bit difficult in parts. But I read this in basically one day, which for me automatically gets a star. Also, I'm a sucker for Ayn Rand type of books, and this one hit that. On the fence about the second one - especially if it's a re-run of this one.
