I still enjoyed some of the same aspects in this book as I did in the previous books, mainly the references to Filipino culture and food. I also appreciated seeing how the characters changed and grew in their relationships. However, it has started to seem a bit too far-fetched to have so many murders in this supposed small town in such a short time, and then to have the same group of people involved in those murders each time. If the series were to continue, I would love to see it changed to not only be murders as the crimes they need to solve.
