Probably closer to like *4.5 stars*

Once again, Mrs. Sarah J. Maas delivered another great book. I was skeptical when I read that ACOSF would be from Nesta Archeron's POV because I HATED her in the original books. However, I'm glad I stuck around and got to see how the story in Prythian continued.

First of all, the bad (to get it over and done with):
1. Even though this is the first official "new adult" in the series, I was still surprised to see how many smut scenes and f*bomb drops there were. Personally, the use of the f*bomb was a bit much for me.
2. Bog of Oorid. Soooooooooooooooooo I know this is technically a spin-off from the original series (but not really all at the same time) BUT I didn't like the addition of the Bog of Oorid. For me, it didn't feel connected to the story at all. I think it would've been better if Sarah had written it in a known location on the map (like in the Weaver's cottage or where the dark sorcerer who captured Vassa lived to add some more conflict).
3. Dealt more with internal conflict instead of the main conflict. Not to say that I didn't enjoy Nesta's AMAZING character arc BUT I wish ACOSF had focused more on the peace treaty and building back the world after the War with Hybern.
