Mishaps Off the Mainland by Tabitha Bouldin
4.0
This was the first book that I have read by this author, but won't be the last. I really enjoyed Mishaps off the Mainland. The writing was good, the characters were well-developed and the story moved quickly. Sarcasm is in my blood and the witty banter between Mel and Zeke is hilarious. Melody and Zeke meet when Mel goes to Nana's house to confess her beloved dog has gotten loose. While they don't exactly hit it off, they do become friends as they spend each evening looking for the dog. There are lots of heart to heart conversations, and this is a wonderful faith-filled story of learning to be still and wait for God.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves christian romance stories with witty dialogue. Thank you to Celebrate Lit for the opportunity to read and review this book. All opinions are my own.
