The Fires of Vengeance by Evan Winter
5.0
6 STAR READ IDCCCCC
The sequel had even more fighting, plot twists, lore and packed a punch. I liked the political intrigue and military strategy in this book. I don’t know how Evan Winter does the pacing so well for his books, I always feel like I just ran a marathon or was in the battle myself. His actions scenes are so good.
We got more Tsiora and Tau, which I enjoyed and I liked all the additional POVS we got even if it was a small character. It helped give me another view into the story.
Me loving all the characters and the new additions too. Character interactions were my favorite, found family trope hit harddd. Just the loss, love, and pain in this book showed me how much I really cared about the characters.
Tau has grown on me a lot as a mc too (not that I didn’t like him before) but he really shines in this book. And that cliffhanger??? GIVE ME BOOK 3 NOW!
