Okay, listen... This book is excellent, and I absolutely recommend reading it, but it loses a full star in my rating for one big reason...

Nathan does not know how to be concise AT ALL. In my sorority, he would have won the "Long Story Long" award at Formal. Truly, he could have cut out AT LEAST 100 pages without losing critical story moments. There were many cases where I would start to skim because he was just going on this tangent of intense and unnecessary detail, which just bogs down the story.

There are so many memorable and well-written chapters in this story that make me confident Nathan is extremely talented, but man, please learn to say a little less.
