This sets him on a journey through his own memories and desires, taking account of what our possessions, relationships, and actions actually mean to the world. He’s estranged from his father and lost his mother a few years ago, single all he really has is his job and his cat Cabbage.

It’s a story of struggling to balance what our lives are worth to us, to others, and compared to other possessions and beings in the world. I read it in one day and cried most of the time. Highly recommend.
