This book is definitely, 100% my favorite book in the whole series. It had everything I was looking for in the series and even after I have finished the rest of the books, The Rise of Nine is simply the one that I will never get tired of. I think I have read this book about 7 or 8 times since I got the book a couple of years ago and I can never get tired of it.

I have always been absolutely in love with the writing style of Pittacus Lore and after having finished the series I have to say that it always made me wait for the next book no matter what.

This part of the series has a sort of timeless classic feel to it and I feel like I can just read it forever. The plot here is also the best for me and I just loved all the characters here and I just can't remember one thing that I did not like in this certain book. I do have a different opinion on how this series ended and concluded but let's save that for another review.


Nine is also probably one of my favorite characters in the whole series. He is so funny and amusing, maybe inappropriate at times, but at the same time he knows when to be serious (kind of). He has gone through so much but he was still able to live and hold his own and this shows just how strong his character really is. He would do everything to protect his family and the only family any of them have left. This might be another reason I love this book. . . because it is focused on Nine's character.
