I simply could not put this book down!

“Plenty of humans were monstrous, and plenty of monsters knew how to play at being human.”

"Vicious" is the first book I read by V.E Schwab and I am so captivated by her subtle writing. The book is extremely cunning, crafty and action-packed and follows the story of two ambitious friends and a science experiment gone horribly wrong. The characters are all morally ambiguous and the two main protagonists Victor and Eli are complex, manipulative and to a certain extent evil and for the longest time I didn't know whom I should root for. I loved them and hated them at the same time (If that makes any sense). An absolutely amazing story of ambition, super-powers and revenge which I enjoyed immensely and which is a must read.

I need to read the SEQUEL, like right now!
