The Gifts of Imperfection: Let Go of Who You Think You're Supposed to Be and Embrace Who You Are by Brené Brown

informative inspiring reflective slow-paced

5.0

I especially liked the 10 "Guidepost" chapters. These presented aspects of wholehearted living with short guidance in how one might: Get Deliberate, Get Inspired, and Get Going. I found the book very practical. There were no simple solutions to make magical happiness and certainly no aim toward perfection. But there was guidance and encouragement to take steps in the direction of being yourself rather than trying to be perfectly what is expected, or what you think is expected.
