I've been very slowly going through the Irin books, which sometimes doesn't serve me well as a reader; I just forget the lore. The Seeker very much feels like a resolution of sorts, both Irin and Irina coming together to bring down one of the Fallen. I'm fascinated by the mythology of this world, which is somehow both incredibly gender essentialist, and also more thoughtful and complex than it seems at first glance? I like when these urban fantasy systems get all messy, which this does.
