The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Hadlow

3.0

This was a great look at the real Mary Bennet finally out from underneath her sisters' shadows. In places, this book was trying too hard to emulate Jane Austen's unique and timeless style and, it's not until halfway through that this particular tale manages to weave itself into the classic that is Pride and Prejudice.

This slowly became a fun read and I was definitely rooting for Mary towards the end.
