Neurotribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity by Steve Silberman
5.0
NeuroTribes is fabulous. I learned a tremendous amount, and have come to a whole new understanding of neurodiversity. It's also just beautifully narrated, beautifully written, warm and wonderful to read.
I cannot recommend this book enough to anyone who is curious about or touched by neurodiversity. There's a whole flowering range of wiring to our beautiful brains, some good stuff and some bad stuff, and Silberman beautifully establishes that a key to making the world we want is to recognize some of that range and find ways to live with it, managing the bad and cultivating and celebrating the good.
