I enjoyed this primer for sustainable travel, and read it cover to cover in one sitting. Its 99 tips are only a paragraph each, so of course any one of them have nuances that go unexamined, but nevertheless I amassed several new bookmarks as I read through.
The tips are organised chronologically ("before you go", "getting there", "bedding down", "playing tourist", "eating out", "let's go shopping", "be well, stay well" and "going home") and aligned to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals. I wanted to step into Julia Murray's beautiful illustrations!

In the spirit of "leaving only footprints", I borrowed this from the library, and definitely assumed it was one of those illustrated thematic reference books from Lonely Planet (it's not - it's from a small press in Melbourne, but that's the vibe). Put it this way - I won't be buying this book as a reference, but I may borrow it again the next time I'm planning a trip. I'd recommend it, particularly for anyone new to the sustainable travel game.
