Definitely 5++ stars

I love this first trilogy of Moonlight series
Still emotional like 2 previous books. Max Savoie and Charlotte (CeeCee) Caissie remind me so much of my everlasting favorite couple, Eve Dallas and Roarke from In Death series, but just minus paranormal aspect. And the fact that Max is werewolf not an ordinary human. But the way their relationship work is the same. How they struggle to balance each other despite their difference. Max with his shady life and CeeCee who is a detective. Max with his wild side and how CeeCee accept that part..
