So, I just finished my first Ashton Brooks book, and let me tell you, it's definitely not gonna be the last. Catch me going back to read the first book in this series immediately! This one? I was hooked from start to finish. The underlying suspense had me reading non-stop, just had to see how things played out. There were so many good plot twists. Right from the beginning, I could feel the chemistry between Jade and Onyx. Through all the ups and downs in their relationship, you could tell they had something special. What really got me was how their love made them feel even stronger about their passions for music and dancing. Onyx? He was always looking out for Jade, even when she didn't have a clue. After everything Jade’s been through, she absolutely deserves to have someone in her corner. The fact that this man’s nickname for her is little star and later he has stars tattooed all over him?? Shut up
