Struck begins when Phoebe ends up getting "struck" by lightning in a department store. She has no idea how that's possible, or what actually happened but she just wants to go home. However, her neighbor Ingrid decides Phoebe must run away because someone is after, and apparently she is a Valkyrie. Phoebe doesn't know what to do, but once she's kidnapped things get even worse, now she must have Fenrir help her on her journey through this new world.

Struck was a very interesting read. It had a very good plot line, although the end was kind of frustrating. It ties in mythology with some twists and turns along the way. It was a very fast paced book with some romance, and a lot of action.

However, the thing that frustrated me the most was how disbelieving Phoebe was. I really hated how she handed things in the beginning. And I also disliked how there was kind of a little bit of insta love. Other than that this book was very enjoyable and I liked it.
