Love in Bloom by Lucy Eden

Most of this book was a sweet, small-town story with a touch of family drama sprinkled on top. I liked Emma and Dan, as well as all the side characters in the small town. I appreciated seeing Emma realize that she doesn't have to live up to everyone else's expectations and that she can choose to pursue what makes her happy. Dan was charming, and their chemistry was quite good.

However, the conflict toward the end felt convoluted and unrealistic, and the resolution seemed rushed. Additionally, Emma's actions—or lack thereof—at the end, when time was of the essence and so many people depended on her, were a bit frustrating. I understand that she didn't know what to do, but she could have at least warned others so they could prepare, rather than locking herself at home to cry.
