Delightful rom-com featuring two Indigenous protagonists, written by an Indigenous woman! We need more of this representation, especially in romance. Ember had/still has some growing up to do and felt more immature than maybe the author intended but Danuwoa was a really well-developed, adjusted, mature love interest that I think most readers would go nuts over. This book has a lot of heart and humor within its pages. I really look forward to Danica Nava’s next novel!
