If I were to change one thing about my reading experience, it would be to have gone into this booking thinking it was a contemporary fiction rather than a contemporary romance. I feel like I might have picked up on different details that way.

Regardless, I found this book quite enjoyable. Seeing the difference in Daphne’s behavior and feelings from the beginning to the end of the book was interesting. This book reminded me heavily of an episode of Black Mirror. Some of how this author writes irked me. Certain parts/sentences were really unnecessary and kind of took away from the tone of the scene. I wish I knew more about Los Angeles, there were a lot of references that made absolutely no sense to me.

Also the ending was very “How I Met your Mother.”
