A slice of life storytelling, only the worst kind of life for women during the witch trials frenzy of the 17th & 18th centuries. I really liked the plot and growth of the sisters as they were fast-tracked from girlhood to womanhood, and had to discover how much they needed each other. The middle drags a little but the story ends well. I loved the contrast between mal- and good intent.
