Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds & Shape Our Futures by Merlin Sheldrake
5.0
This book is a fantastic introduction to the wonderful world of the fungus among us. Sheldrake writes with love, care, and wonder as he shakes lose our preconceptions of fungi as merely being mushrooms. There are vast networks of fungi beneath our feet, above our heads, and on/in our very bodies that are regulating systems, negotiating deals, decomposing matter, altering systems, and even changing minds of animals of all kinds -- including us humans! Sheldrake provides so many wonderful threads to tug in and amazing other scholars to pursue such as Natasha Myers, Paul Stamets, and Peter McCoy (Radical Mycology).
