An Offer From a Gentleman by Julia Quinn
3.0
I actually liked this book more than the previous two, but, meh, Benedict is kind of stupid.
------‐------------------
I know this book has been criticized for its class discrimination but if you would notice, it is still very much a reality in today's world. Maybe not so much in the USA, but a form of it still persists in most former British Colonies and in the UK itself. It would make headlines if a Millionaire married a Gardener. I'm not saying it's right or encouraging it but it is what it is.
‐------------------
Mrs. Bridgerton leaned forward and whispered, "I like your Sophie. May we keep her?"
Was this book even edited? It's 'Mrs. Crabtree' not 'Mrs Bridgerton'. Not to mention, there is no 'Mrs' Bridgerton (yet), it's 'Lady' Bridgerton.
