Umm..it was cool. I loved the relationship between the siblings and how nostalgic it made me for my hometown. So much of the sister’s abilities were vague and her inability to act on the oppression she witnessed frustrated me deeply…..but maybe that was the point. I don’t know.

It is a book I’d use in my English class to teach though.
