Quiet Acts of Violence by Cath Staincliffe

3.0

A real mixed review for this book. Up until at least halfway I was not feeling this book at all, ready to give it 2*.
It was a slow burner but it definitely improved as the story was developed. It was hard to put down honestly and the suspense was great. In my head my rating changed from 2* to 4*.
Then the final part of the rollercoaster of a book, the ending.. it just really didn’t sit right with me, there were too many loose ends and no solid resolutions.
So whilst I did enjoy this book for the most part and the storyline and characters were strong, it wasn’t the crime thriller for me. I settled on a middle rating of 3 out of 5 stars.
3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️
