I mean Devney Perry truly hung the moon in my book world. I just love her so much and every book she writes I love so much, and I will never not drop everything I’m doing to read her new books the day they drop. ALSO for the first time ever I used the Kindle Unlimited audio feature and what the heck have I been doing with my life prior to today? Because literally there wasn’t a moment today when I wasn’t devouring this book. I was either reading when my kids were asleep or I had an ear bud in listening when I was momming (judge if you must but I told you I was a dedicated Ms. Perry fan.)

All that to say, I didn’t think I could love any book in this series more than book one, Cross Roads, but SIKE I loved this one just as much in its own special way. Why am I a sucker for an accidental pregnancy trope?? Idk! But no one writes it better than DP!

Sasha and Jax meet at a grocery story over a shopping cart debacle. When he tells her his name and asks her on a date, she quickly declines when she realizes it’s his ranch she’s just gotten a new job at. As the months progress Sasha avoids him at all costs. That’s until she has to move into his rental house and goes home with him after a work party. When she finds out she’s pregnant six weeks later, she still wants to keep him at a distance. But Jax being Jax is simply not having it!!
