I will give almost any fairytale retelling a shot. This one was interesting and it was quick so it was easy to get through. It was entertaining enough and fairly different. But there was also a lot packed into this novel and I think that’s where it lost points for me. Lots of fairytales, lots of trying to be VERY modern, and lots of pop references. I can’t see me reading the next installment but I’m glad I read this one.
