As perfect as it is heartbreaking. I loved the storytelling and pacing of the story -- there were parts where I was laughing out loud. But it was also so difficult and frustrating to read, there were parts where I actually had to put the book down because it was just too much to take. I really loved the character study of Okonkwo, and how the different characters got to have their perspectives/narratives explored. A gorgeous story on the dangers of colonialism.
The fact that Ikemefuna's story was just a few chapters long but stuck with me the whole time is a testament to the really beautiful writing.
