Aurora Rising by Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff
4.0
4.5 stars*
This book was great! It felt like a combination of Six of Crows and sci-fi.
Things I liked:
1. The characters (very realistic and relatable)
2. The details throughout the book (it must have taken a while to create them all)
3. The world(s) (they seemed unique and creative)
4. The story (overall, it was interesting read)
The One Thing I did NOT like (spoilers):
The beginning. For me, it was too slow and it took everything I had to continue. However, I'm glad I did. I now have a favorite ships (Auri and Kal) and one of the saddest character deaths ever (RIP Cat).
