I gave this book a 5 out of 5 stars.

I just gobbled this one up. I thought this book was much better than the first one. I liked how we just went straight into the plot and action.

I love that Percy was a bit more comfortable and confident in himself and really went into his powers. I really liked Percy’s character arc in this one and his growth, especially when it comes to certain relationships.

I loved the addition of new characters, like Tyson, and old characters, *cough Clarisse cough*. I loved that each individual character was given an arc and development throughout. This one hit the feels and really made me invested in the characters, especially in ones that I wasn’t really into in the first book.

I thought the plot was also great and gave us good moments.

In all, I highly recommend this book and series and now I’m definitely going to order the box set of the series and look into more of Uncle Rick’s other series too.
