I wish I could give this book more than five stars! Absolutely obsessed with this. I don't even know where to start. I don't think I've ever read a story that was this Jewish. It made every fiber of me absolutely sing, it felt like a home I've never been to, it was an absolute joy. Giving Uriel it/its pronouns was an absolutely inspiring way to give beautiful representation *and* make it always clear in the narrative who was doing what during conversations and actions with it and Little Ash. The slow burn of Rose figuring out she was queer was so gorgeously handled, it felt so viscerally real. The audiobook narrator for this was absolutely *outstanding*, he did such an incredible job. I immediately bought a physical copy of this book to keep on my shelf because I know I will want to reread it again and again and again.
