If I thought the first book was good, well the second one was even better. Wow, what a roller coaster of events Nik and Ben went through; it felt as though this were two entirely separate novels given how much they went through from the first half of the book to the last. The author is an amazing story teller bringing you right into the story. The last event they went through, yikes, I felt I was right there with them, struggling right along with them. I am absolutely in love with Nik and Ben as characters and love seeing them evolve as individuals and as a couple. Let’s not forget Radulf, he’s the goodest doggo ever!
