The Black Cat by Edgar Allan Poe

challenging dark mysterious tense medium-paced

4.25

Listening to this audiobook was a trip and a half. It may be short, but the punch it packs is mighty. This story had me completely creeped out and the narrator was an excellent choice, as he captured the uneasy approach to madness.

I will be going through to read all of Edgar Allan Poe's works during this Fall/ Autumn and Winter season. Poe writes in a way that captures the very essence of Autumn and Winter. It's the kind of writing that captivates you.
