One of the best books/series I've read. If you enjoy fantasy and are looking for an epic adventure tale with all the elements and more of the genre, emotions galore and good old-fashioned heroism.... then look no further. This series is a must!
I actually am disappointed now because I've grown attached to the characters and there's a void which needs to be filled. I'll miss catching up with the adventures and trials of Corban, Meical, Maquin and Gar etc. etc. Until I discover my next read that is.

Sometimes in life you just want to take a time-out. Lose yourself in another time/world. Escape to where there is no work to worry about, no stress, no technology, politics, religion, petty squabbles and so on...
Well, I do anyway.
And at such times books/series like this one really do hit the spot.
