This book took me too long to reread. I had so much happen in my personal life that reading was put to the side.
aside from that, I enjoyed this book (again) and it’s reinvigorated me to continue the duology. This was really intriguing being in a different culture with the main character, a female, having to pass as a man to further the ambitions of her master and help them survive. Unwillingly she also becomes the main player in a power struggle for the throne.

The dragons are awesome and I can’t wait to see more of the mirror dragon in Eona.
