Send in the Clowns by Julie Mulhern
4.0
First:
This one starts out pretty funny, despite, yes, the topic of bodies literally falling on Ellison. It packs in her usual style of humor, the sometimes-snooty mother, a fair amount of family drama and some reluctant dating. Fun, as were books 1-3.
I enjoyed it enough that I’ll continue on in the series.
Note:
I could’ve done without hearing ‘brrriingg brrriiingg’ and ‘ding dong’ narrated every time Ellison’s phone or doorbell rang. Got to be a bit much.
Overall:
4 stars.
Audio:
Great as always, this narrator is good at her job, and overall sound quality was great.
5 stars.
