Wither by Lauren DeStefano
5.0
This book was creepy and haunting, yet elegant and luxurious! It left me wanting to know more...I immediately began researching if the second book was out yet or not!
In Wither, death is emanate. There's no escaping it. I felt that the author really put that out there in the beginning and continued setting this mood for the reader. You know that eventually the characters, some sooner that others, will leave the story in a sad but inescapable death around the young age of 20-25.
Rhine has to be one of the best, strong female characters I've read about. She's constantly watching out for others she feels close too, while keeping those that she doesn't trust within good graces! The author has really done an amazing job on the first installment to this trilogy! I anxiously anticipate the release of book two!
