As always my ratings for memoirs are not a true rating as I cannot “rate” someone’s life experiences they care to share.

I really actually quiiiiite enjoyed this. I definitely liked the first 4 parts more than part 5. I appreciate Jada’s vulnerability throughout her story, I had no idea she struggled with mental health most of her life. I think the structure of the book is well done, at the end of each chapter is a wonderful reflection moment for yourself, and I think that’s really what her book is about. With the chaos all around you in your every day life, we are constantly making decisions and choices and at some point yes we make have consequences, so how are you going to move in those moments? Are you going to let it consume you, are you going to take ownership, are you handle it and keep it pushing? But at the same time taking a step back and reevaluating the situation and processing your authentic feelings. I looooove the differences between her and Will, at some point I was like yooo they really are toxic AF for each other and yet they’re still together. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I can definitely empathize with her when she talks about “being on constantly”, that is such a draining emotion and feeling to experience, and probably more when it’s coming from your family. Idk I enjoyed this memoir, I know people have their opinions about them as a couple but meh, they don’t pay my bills, I’m just a squirrel tryna get a nut lol
