I savor Margaret Atwood's writing like fine truffle chocolates. Her word smithing is of course, superlative, and the depth of character development is mind boggling. Her oft-times dark humor (my fave), and sense of the macabre and human shadow wrestling shines through as does her utterly unique imagination. In my "top 5" of all-time favorite authors.
