THIS BOOK WAS CRAZY! I don’t even know how to describe this book it’s like a sci-fi, dystopian, and a thriller all in one. The other reviews who have related this to Black Mirror are so spot on it has the futuristic element and the fucked up situation. The buildup was amazing the whole time you wanted to know what was really behind this seemingly perfect safe haven. Little by little Lamar Giles chips away at this fairytale that these characters thought they were living and it soon turns into a nightmare. This story was literally so gripping so many twists and turns. It was a pretty long thriller in my opinion but the pacing was perfection. The story never dragged even in the beginning when nothing thrilling was happening but there were building the foundation for later on. This book was a great surprise because I barely heard anything about it and now it’s a 5 star read from me. All I know is EAT THE RICH!
