WOW this was not what I expected.
This story had everything - romance, hope, war, political intrigue, incredibly unique species, humor, ghosts.....I don't even know what to say other than I am ridiculously impressed.
This is one of the better comics I've ever read. Heck, it's one of the better books I've read in a long time. The story is bizarre and new, while still feeling familiar. The characters are like nothing I've ever seen before, but I can really relate to them in a lot of unexpected ways. The politics of this world confuse me a tiny bit, but it's becoming more and more clear the more I read.
Well, the author ended this on such a cliffhanger that I feel I have no choice but to read the next one. Everyone should give this a try - it's brilliant.
