I really enjoyed this book and the characters. The best way it felt to describe it was like taking a stroll, you don’t have a destination in mind it’s about the journey and that’s what this book felt like. We didn’t know how this was going to play out but it was about the little things along the way.

Both of our main characters are dealing with issues that a lot of people just brush off and don’t fully understand. Raine is dealing with ADHD so her mind is always going in a thousand different directions but she can also become so consumed with one task. And Jack has OCD and is dealing with some serious intrusive thoughts. I don’t know if it was just that Jack’s issues felt more daunting but he felt more fleshed out as a character. Like I still liked Raine and could understand her struggles but I cared more about Jack and his outcome and felt like we got a little more into him.

I also really enjoyed their romance. You could tell that they hit it off right away and there was some lowkey flirting going on but as they end up in business together they try to stifle that even though it’s more of like a freelance kind of feel, she’s only helping him out with updating his pub for a few weeks. They have little moments throughout the story and I was just like omg guys can you get together. They were just really cute together and I’d get that warm fuzzy feeling when they were interacting. Neither one of them judged the other for their issues, they were both in it together.

And the setting, being in Ireland…I was ready to pack up and head off.
