This book was a piece of me. The most perfectly pitched Regency romance with some of my new favourite characters. I loved Eliza. She was so clever and I enjoyed her journey of taking her life into her own hands. Margaret was hysterical. Such a wit. And Lord Melville was dashing and everything you’d want from a supposed rake. Just brilliant.
