I've tried to read this book several times in the past four years and it just didn't click for me... until now. This book is exactly my shit though, and I'm so glad I finally read it all the way through. The thought and care Becky Chambers put into this book, each of the characters, all of the politics and history around them is so, so evident. I teared up several times, and felt incredibly seen at other times. Rarely I interact with media that mirrors the things I think and write about and this is one of them. Thank you Becky Chambers for this book.
