Still Life with Bones by Alexa Hagerty

5.0

Can you really rate you enjoyment of this book? No, but the heartbreak and rawness that the common people of Latin America have had to live through during multiple genocides has been so sympathetically written and you can feel trauma Hagerty went through trying to put the pieces back together of countless victims.

No matter what the news or certain dictators say, you can’t erase genocides. Memories are long and every contact leaves a trace on the land, on the people, on economy.
