As always with the books in this series, the writing was very atmospheric and magical. Some quotes really inspired me to make fanart for this series. I thought this was a very solid and beautiful ending to the trilogy, where loose ends got tied up and it all came together in a way that's expected of a fairytale or myth; timeless yet still relevant.
I think the author did an amazing job with the Russian folklore elements-- I especially really enjoyed reading about a certain new place that got introduced, and I also really liked the new characters in this specific book.
