I read this a couple of years ago and I’m finally getting to reading the sequel so I needed to reread it. I forgot how absolutely amazing this book is. The storytelling, world-building, characters, and relationships are incredibly beautiful and it just immerses you in the story and characters almost immediately. I read a lot of books and I’m easily entertained so I won’t say I read a bunch of very good books but I can confidently say that this is a great book. I would properly take the time to talk about everything this book did right but I stayed up till 3 am reading this and I’m still on a high from finishing it. I can’t wait to start the next one tomorrow.
