I should have enjoyed this more than I did, but the relationship between Sabine and Wolf just feels too much like The Sacred Stones trilogy which I read recently.
I wish that the fantasy world was more developed and we had more characters to care about besides the two leads. I found that I couldn't enjoy the love scenes because then it would turn into something bad. I knew where the ending was going, although there were a couple of surprises along the way. One that didn't make sense to me.
I don't like where the story went at the end, it was like the author just wanted to bring in every cliche plotline she could find. Not sure that I can read the next book, I need a break.
