King of Sloth by Ana Huang
5.0
King of Sloth was another cozy, romantic read. I think it is safe to say that the Kings of Sin series is one of my favorites. I have been dying for Sloane's story so I was glad we finally got it. The romantic and sexual tension between her and Xavier was HOT. I enjoyed their dynamic but it did play out as much as I expected it to. That being said, it didn't make the story any less enjoyable.
While King of Pride is still my favorite this might be a close second. Sloane reminded me a lot of myself in my younger days when trying to be cold with closed-off emotions. Sometimes it is easier to keep people out so you don't have to worry about ever getting hurt. I felt I related to her a lot more than the other women we have read about thus far so I have a bit of a soft spot. And good thing that like me, Sloane came to her senses and opened herself up to happiness and love.
Xavier was cocky and cool but to see him finally come completely undone by Sloane was *chefs kiss*
Not related to this book...but We have Vuk as Envy coming up...I suspect Luca will be Lust? Who will be Gluttony??
