Not a book to read if a person is in a depressed mood (given the attempted suicide early on in the book and what begins the central plot of the story). However, ultimately, it is about finding the meaning in YOUR life and what makes it special. Very philosophical, but that’s part of the charm and what made it memorable to me.
Graphic: Self harm, Suicidal thoughts, and Suicide attempt
Moderate: Animal death, Death, Grief, and Death of parent
Minor: Addiction, Alcoholism, Chronic illness, Drug abuse, and Vomit
